Ana Laín obtained her bachelor's and doctorate in Biology at the University of the Basque Country, with a project on molecular diagnosis of infectious diseases, for which she obtained the extraordinary doctorate award. Later, he joined the CIC bioGUNE where he has worked in various lines of research, especially in the search for new therapeutic strategies for the treatment of rare diseases.
