Nicanor Zalba studied his Biochemistry degree at the University of Navarra. After finishing, he worked in the biopharma industry for one year and a half, and during this time he started a Chemistry degree at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). Then he decided to start his PhD project at CIC bioGUNE, in the Protein Stability and Inherited Diseases laboratory, under the direction of Dr. Oscar Millet. During this time, he finished all theoretical subjects of the Chemistry degree and started a Mathematics degree also at UNED. Currently, I am in my third year of PhD and continue learning maths.
